Received a text message from Kenneth koh just now, inside it read. Please pass this message on, my friend's father has leukemia. Urgently need AB+ platelets. Calling for AB+ ppl, have 3 but need 15. Please save a life. Contact caili 97838531.

At first when i saw the sms i just left my phone there on the table, too lazy to forward it to my contact list, imagining hw many numbers there must be. But on 2nd thought, i pictured that person to be my own family member. And what would i do to save that person, what measures will i take ? Putting myself into the person shoes i decided to help at least pass on the message if i dont have the capability of donating since i'm a O+. I mean, if you were to find out the person u send the text message to just takes a glance at it den throw it a side like its nth, it'd hurt.

Best thing was, i received a reply. " You siao ah? " okay i dont know if this is because I'M the one sending the sms to the point that because its ME it cannot be trusted OR the problems lies on the other side. Seriously after seeing that i came over here to blog straight away, i mean. Look at singaporeans nowadays, especially ages groups between 13-18 types. Passing on the message would hardly cost u more den what, $2 ? Including that your some extremely popular person with a thousand conatcts in your phone. But what if it reaches a person that CAN and is WILLING to donate? If you were the daughter/son of the father, receiving news like that would be like a piece of heaven just fell flat on you. Dont say you dont give a damn about your parents or smth like that, im talking about majority of the ppl.

Hann replied with some doubts but she said she'll try to pass it on, greatly appreciated (: Although i dont know who the person is, if somehow somewhere my 5cent sms reaches a person that adds on to the current 3, i mean. Think about it lah, it'd be cruel to leave the sms in your inbox.

Its a cruel world, there are just some factors.
We've never considered happening, yet we dwell in our world ever so ignorantly.
If this somehow gets through to you, i'd like to say.
You didn't slip away, & if u did i'll get you back, i promise (:
